Episode 013
Prolonging Human Life by Examining the Effects of Deuterium with Dr. Laszlo G. Boros
Join your host Tracy Duhs as she interviews Dr. Laszlo G. Boros, recognized expert of metabolic water biochemistry and deuterium effects in health and disease.
In this episode Tracy ponders how upgrading our mitochondrial potential to produce our own metabolic water may be paramount to the water that we’re drinking. Dr. Boros educates us about how we not only produce, but also recycle water in our mitochondria. He then introduces us to only drink water when we are thirsty because drinking too much water can interfere with the body’s ability to recycle the low deuterium water we’re producing!
Tracy and Dr. Boros delve into Tritium and the destructiveness of this rare, radioactive isotope, which is three times the size of hydrogen. They discuss how the oldest populations lived in higher altitudes with low deuterium content, thus, living well over 100 years. Stay tuned to capture how this discussion leads them to consider why it is important to begin designing a better future for humanity.
“Our most efficient deuterium depletion is in grass, it’s called photosynthesis which breaks water allowing hydrogen to be used for building organic molecules or organic material.”
– Dr. Laszlo G. Boros
Outline of the episode:
- [01:04] INTRO – Blowing deuterium and its relationship to sleep.
- [03:04] What is deuterium and why is it damaging to biological systems?
- [13:12] What kind of foods have the highest amount of Deuterium?
- [17:40] Our most efficient deuterium depletion method is in grass.
- [19:56] Dr. Boros educates us about how we produce and recycle water in our mitochondria!
- [28:42] Studies show that water heavy in deuterium tastes sweeter and light deuterium water has no taste.
- [36:38] The factors to account for when lowering deuterium.
- [48:54] Dr. Boros on average only drinks about ½ a liter of water a day. The knowledge about drinking very little water is very ancient.
- [51:55] Is it possible to be environmentally exposed to deuterium content?
- [56:23] Tridium and it’s destructiveness!
- [59:50] The introduction of heavy deuterium water could potentially be shortening our lifespans.
- [1:03:54] It seems that technology development is not in favor of understanding nature. We might need to look into designing a better future for humanity.
- [1:05:15] The importance of deudonomics!
- [1:05:30] OUTRO – Where to find and connect with Dr. Laszlo G. Boros.
About Dr. Laszlo G. Boros:
Dr. Boros holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the Albert Szent-Györgyi
School of Medicine, Szeged, Hungary and is currently a Professor of Pediatrics, Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Medicine. Dr. Boros is the co-inventor of the targeted 13C tracer fate association study (TTFAS) platform to study the oncoisotope role of deuterium and its depletion (deupletion) by mitochondrial matrix water exchange reactions to prevent oncoisotopic cell transformation by deuterium. He also established mitochondrial quantum vacuum as the prime driving force of all life related energy producing biochemical events via the quantum destabilization of hydrogen ions, i.e. protons in water and gas that are compromised by deuterium, hence deuterium depletion is a critical process to maintain health and longevity
